  1. We develop databases using either of 2 database management systems: Microsoft Access and MySQL.
  2. MS Access is a good solution for the desktop or small network system. It’s fast to create, easily maintained and can be very cost effective.
  3. MySQL is an Open Source database management system. For small business applications it can be the perfect choice, as it is robust and cost effective.
  4. User interfaces can be developed either in MS Access (with either Access or MySQL data stores), PHP (for a browser-based system), or Java (for networked applications).
  5. Security is a constant concern, and we can implement multi-level security models to secure your data from outside and inside threats.
  6. Move your Excel spreadsheets to a real database management system. Spreadsheets are great, but at some point the data from huge spreadsheets should be migrated into a secure, multi-user system that can provide data validation, sophisticated query capabilities, and protection from data corruption. Store your data in a database and analyze them in spreadsheets.
